Thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in my campaign.
For the past five years I have served in Clarkstown as Town Clerk. Throughout my time in this position, I have worked to make local government run efficiently and to bridge the communication gap between residents and lawmakers. However, working as Town Clerk has also made me aware of the dysfunctional ways in which local and state laws coincide.
As your State Senator, I will bring local sensibility to statewide proceedings. Albany Legislators must acknowledge the needs of individual communities for New York State to flourish. I am devoted to ensuring that Albany reforms itself to better serve Rockland and Orange Counties.
The issues pending before Albany require us to be open-minded, innovative and adept at applying new solutions. If I am elected to the State Senate for the 38th district, I will take every opportunity to work for the people of Rockland and Orange Counties in Albany.
Let’s work together to move Albany in a new direction on November 2nd 2010.
